Iqbal M. Ishani is founder and principal of IMI Film & Musik Produktions. He has worked in the global film industry for twenty-seven years.

Iqbal received his college education in Eastbourne, Sussex, UK. Then, after winning a scholarship to Germany for studies in Tourism and Media he became employed as a sound technician at the state run Bavarian Television station.

As Digital change from 35mm/16mm, Iqbal became employed doing Lighting and Camera work for films, documentaries, news programs and commercials (see film credits).

In addition, he also taught filmtechnics (and Qi Gong) at the DSA German Academy for Actors and the London Academy of Science of Acting Directing.

While employed by Metacon Filmproduction, Iqbal coordinated a major promotional shoot for Bayer in India. He was the principal organizer for this project. He was responsible for scouting to find the shooting locations and the local Indian crew; and for 35mm-Equipment / Health / Safety for the European Crew. In addition he was a lead actor for the film.

While working for Reuters, the global news leader, Iqbal interviewed many people including top Politicians while also organizing the shoots and coordinating the sound.

Iqbal has now made Canada his home and is making Healing music CDs and health/Music DVD's,and also a comedy called "Let's Vegetate". He is a member of GEMA (Canadian equal is SOCAN).
